The frames below are some of the most enjoyable I have ever had the pleasure of working on. The four elements—sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium—that comprise Powerade's Ion 4 recovery drink were the driving force behind the script, which portrayed Clippers point guard Chris Paul as the professor of a chemically-driven lecture hall explaining the advanced science involved in creating the drink. My approach was to place the four individual elements into basketballs densely filled with data that would represent the interactive ions Paul would use in his lecture.
